Risky Business Student Challenge UBB

Are you an ambitious student ready to put your skills into practice with global business professionals? Apply to the Risky Business Student Challenge and shape your idea into a plan and grow your skills in the real world!

The Risky Business Student Challenge UBB is organized by Babes Bolyai University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FSEGA) and Risky Business Ventures, welcoming students from any faculty in Romania, as long as they are able to join the program in Cluj-Napoca (April 16 and May 7). All that matters is for you to have an idea and want to work hard on your business skills and learn intensively.

What is the challenge?

The challenge is simple: turn your problem-solving business idea into a coherent and efficient business pitch.

You’ll develop your business skills, learning for two weeks from business leaders and entrepreneurs from around the world, turning your idea into an actionable business plan. You’ll get to know a network of business professionals and gain deep insight into the challenges of entrepreneurship.

Do I need a team?

No- but it is good if you do!

If you don’t have one, we are still looking forward to hearing from you – and maybe you’ll find teammates at the first meeting or throughout the program.

Do I need a business plan?

No, all you need is your idea in a tweet. We will help you develop it and explore the possibilities during the following weeks via workshops, mentoring and feedback.

Ok, but what’s in it for me?

First of all, The Risky Business Student Challenge UBB is a great chance to develop your business skills in a practical way and interact with real business people from Romania, USA or Germany, who will work closely with you to develop your idea. At the end, you will have the opportunity to present your progress and compete for goodies (TBA soon)! And of course, you get two weeks of intensive, practical learning with people who want to see you succeed!

So are you ready to take the challenge? Then fill in this simple form here with a short description of your idea and your contacts.
